Alburnett Students Compete in Cyber Defense and App Design Competition

Congratulations to the Alburnett Networking team! April 29th and 30th the Networking club participated in both a cyber defense competition and an app design competition at the Iowa State University campus. In 2014 the Alburnett Networking team received 13th place in the state cyber defense competition. In 2015 they received 9th place. This year, the team got higher than they imagined they would, finishing in 4th place! In order to get 4th place the team put in weeks and weeks of hard dedicated work. Their work paid off. This year, Jack Waskow took a brave position this year as a one-man-team for ISU's app design competition! He finished in 10th place out of 20 which is very impressive considering he was the only one who was on his team. Congratulations so the Alburnett Networking team for both competitions.

If anyone would like to receive more information on who the Alburnett Networking club is and what they do, contact Dawson Medin either in person or by email. Again, great work this year!
